Fellow Patriots,
All over this country Americans are getting involved like never before. People are outraged at the policies of President Obama and the liberals in Congress that threaten to ruin our country.
As a Constitutional conservative, I believe we must return to the first principles that our founding fathers so wisely left us. I am running for re-election to continue taking the fight to the liberals in Washington whose policies will make America a second rate country. I ask for your support to get the job done.
America was made strong by hard work, limited government, and self-reliance. We did not become the most powerful and prosperous country in the world through high taxes, big government, bloated spending, and unsustainable debt.
Liberals in Washington spend too much, borrow too much, and tax too much. We as a country, must learn the lesson never to let liberals have the levers of power again.
I will stand for treating terrorists as war criminals, not sending them to civilian courts. I will stand for healthcare reform through free market solutions, not a big government takeover which is unconstitutional, intrusive, and expensive. I will stand for the federal government living within its means like everyone else, not going further into debt to pay for out of control spending.
The National Journal ranked me, along with six others, as the most conservative member of Congress for my voting record last year. Also, the National Taxpayers Union has given me their top rating, with only a small number of others, as a Friend of the Taxpayer. From the American Conservative Union, I have received a lifetime rating of 100% and I pledge to continue standing up for conservative values if re-elected to Congress.
If you and I and enough Americans see how fragile and precious our freedoms are, we will come through this dark time. Together we can and will take our country back. As Ronald Reagan said, "America can once again be the shining city on a hill."
